From August 14 to August 18, creative workshops for children and youths aged six to eighteen will be held in Valmiera as part Artist is Present, an international project organized by the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (LCCA). Over the course of more than ten captivating workshop sessions and events, participants will have the chance to work together with Latvian and Norwegian artists.

We invite to participate every child and young adult who wants to do creative work together with artists and learn about the different means of expression current in present-day art (installation art, painting, dance and movement, sound and poetry, photography, and more). Thanks to support by EEA grants, the workshops are free and will take place in Latvian and English.

Participants are required to apply beforehand to participate in the workshops.
